Sparkles is a 5yr old terrier mix. Sparkles came to Coastal as an owner surrender due to their situation changing. She is very thin and only weighs around 7lbs. This baby loves to be close her person at all times. She craves love and affection. Sparkles is UTD on her vaccines, HW negative, microchipped, and spayed. Sparkles walks well on a leash and is crate trained. Because she lived in an apartment, she is housetrained to puppy pads, but since being in foster, she does go outside in a fenced yard to potty when given the opportunity. It takes her very short period of time to attach to the person that shows her love and understanding. She is OK with small 4 legged friends but would do best being your one and only. Adoption Fees:Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee. All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected). Microchip:CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf. 30 Days Pet Insurance: As a Petfinder member, all adopters are entitled to a free 30 day insurance policy through PetFirst. Coastal Pet Rescue is not responsible for this policy. Adopters must call PetFirst’s toll-free number 855-710-XXXX to activate the coverage. If adopters fail to call, the policy will not be activated.Shelter locationOur pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets.
