We are currently seeking a dynamic Assistant Banquet Manager to join our team. This role will be instrumental in supporting and supervising various event locations on our property, including The Orchard Event Center, Jammery, Hilltop Pavilion, and other remote settings. Working closely with the Banquet Operations Manager, you will represent our Food and Beverage team, upholding our service culture and standards. Responsibilities: Oversight of evening operations at Southall’s Event Center and outdoor event spaces Coordination of Food and Beverage programming, including demonstrations and mixology events Management of property-wide event activations for social, group, and corporate clientele Supervision of a team of Banquet captains, servers, bartenders, and housemen Scheduling, inventory management, product ordering, staff training, and quality control Budget management to ensure overall profitability Polished verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English Recruitment of staff, scheduling, coaching, and performance management Awareness of industry trends and ability to set new trends Customer service orientation with exceptional hospitality skills Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays Physical ability to meet the demands of the position, including lifting and standing for prolonged periods Skills and Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the industry with a focus on Banquet operations Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high-end hotel or resort Experience with Relais & Chateaux and Forbes standards preferred Knowledge of Delphi software preferred Award-winning background with a track record of excellence and success Detail-oriented with a polished and professional appearance Education: 4-year college degree preferred, or relevant training and experience Join us at Southall Farm & Inn and be part of a team committed to delivering exceptional experiences in a stunning setting.
